Captain Zoom, a curious spaceman, arrives on Earth to understand how humans live. He befriends Liselott Blom in the Swedish village of Bollunda and begins his investigation into everyday life. Puzzled by apartment blocks, plumbing systems, and the flow of water and fire through pipes, Captain Zoom sets out to solve the mysteries of human existence. How do people obtain food and clothes? What connects money and work? Where does waste go? Armed with his battle cry "Galaxies in my braxes," the alien explorer navigates Swedish society with wide-eyed wonder, discovering how everything in our world actually functions through the eyes of an outsider.
