ShortFLIX is a short film initiative that supports aspiring filmmakers aged 18–25 in creating original work for broadcast on Sky Arts. The programme gives emerging talent the chance to develop their craft and reach a television audience, offering a platform for fresh voices in independent cinema. Participants receive backing to realise their creative vision across a range of genres and styles. ShortFLIX has become a launchpad for young directors, producers and cinematographers seeking professional experience and industry exposure early in their careers.
