ShenZhen is a Chinese drama following Song Xiao Lei, an idealistic but unemployed man recovering from a painful breakup. With his friend's encouragement, he moves into an apartment with three women: Bai Jing Jing, a witty fashion enthusiast; Li Mei Dai, a naive runaway; and Hu Li Li, a guarded woman scarred by her mother's suicide and her parents' turbulent marriage. As these four strangers navigate shared living space, they confront questions of love, trust, and personal growth. The series balances comedy with deeper emotional moments as each character grapples with their past wounds and learns to open up to connection.
