Henshin Ninja Arashi(1972)

Henshin Ninja Arashi is a Japanese series set during the Edo Period that follows Hayate, a young ninja whose father invented the Transformation Jutsu, a technique that grants superhuman abilities. When Hayate's own clan, the Blood Wheel Clan, weaponizes the jutsu to conquer Japan through violence and terror, Hayate convinces his reluctant father to perform the transformation on him. He becomes Arashi, a birdman ninja, and vows to protect the innocent from his clan's tyranny. After the Blood Wheel Clan murders his father in retaliation for his betrayal, Hayate escapes and joins forces with the rival Iga Clan. Together they wage war to prevent the Blood Wheel Clan from seizing control of the nation, blending martial arts action with themes of redemption and defiance against corruption.
