Good Guys, Bad Guys(1997)

Good Guys, Bad Guys is an Australian crime comedy-drama that aired on Nine Network from 1997 to 1998. Marcus Graham stars as Elvis Maginnis, a disgraced former cop framed for corruption who now runs K for Kleen, a struggling dry-cleaning business in Melbourne. Saddled with an eccentric criminal family and constantly pulled toward helping people in trouble, Elvis finds his attempts at going straight repeatedly derailed. His sensible manager Stella Kinsella and co-worker Reuben Zeus, who has Tourette syndrome, try to keep the business afloat while Elvis chases damsels in distress and wild schemes. Filmed across Melbourne's bohemian inner suburbs—St. Kilda, Fitzroy and Carlton—the series captures the city's character through trams, landmarks and local venues. A soundtrack featuring Regurgitator, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, The Whitlams, The Avalanches and other Australian acts complements the action. The show produced one telemovie and twenty-six episodes.
