No Greater Love(2014)

Ikaw Lamang is a Philippine drama series set during the 1960s sugar boom in Bacolod, where vast wealth divides the planter class from struggling plantation workers. Samuel, the son of a sakada laborer, forms a forbidden bond with Isabel, daughter of a wealthy haciendera family. As their childhood friendship deepens into love, the two must navigate the rigid class barriers that threaten to keep them apart. The series explores whether their devotion can survive the weight of social expectation, family duty, and economic inequality. Against the backdrop of a transforming sugar industry, Samuel and Isabel's relationship becomes a test of whether love alone can bridge the gulf between their worlds.
