Oasis(2023)

Oasis is a South Korean series set during the turbulent 1980s and '90s, following Lee Doo Hak, a clever young man from Jeolla Province whose life takes a dark turn after a chance encounter with a real estate fraud scheme. Drawn into a world of corruption and violence, he transforms into a "political gangster," determined to avenge his father's unjust death. The series captures an era of moral decay and ruthless ambition, where survival demands cunning and ruthlessness. As Doo Hak navigates between legitimate power and criminal underworld, he becomes entangled in fierce conflicts with rivals equally hungry for wealth and influence.
