Résistance is a comedy series set during the Nazi occupation of France, following a ragtag group of amateur resistance fighters determined to drive out the German invaders. The FIFIs—bumbling, ill-equipped, and hopelessly unprepared—are passionate about their country but woefully lacking in tactical expertise or military training. As they stumble through sabotage missions and undercover operations, their well-intentioned efforts often backfire in hilarious ways. The show balances humor with the historical gravity of wartime France, capturing both the absurdity of ordinary citizens thrust into extraordinary circumstances and their genuine courage in the face of occupation.
