Filles du feu is a French historical drama set in 1609 Basque Country, following three sisters descended from a line of abortionist-healers. Their precarious existence shatters when Judge Pierre De Lancre arrives in the region, determined to eradicate what he perceives as witchcraft and female autonomy. Driven by fear and hostility toward women's knowledge and independence, De Lancre orchestrates one of France's most brutal witch hunts. The sisters face mounting danger as they each struggle to survive the escalating terror, forced to navigate impossible choices while protecting their family's dangerous legacy and their own lives.
