Boyfriend Kourin! follows three adults whose lives intersect through a charming 23-year-old named Asahi. Kashiko, a 35-year-old advertising agency worker plagued by self-doubt, and Wataru, an expressive backstage actress at a small theatre company, were once inseparable best friends in high school. Years later, they reconnect through Asahi, whose innocent smile and natural talent draw people toward him. As the trio navigates their rekindled friendship and evolving dynamics, old bonds are tested and new feelings emerge. The series explores how chance encounters can unearth buried connections and challenge what we thought we knew about ourselves and each other.
