The War of Beauties(2022)

The War of Beauties follows three close friends whose bonds fracture after graduation. When Chung Ka-po wins a school beauty contest, she's recruited into the entertainment industry by agent Wing Yat-yin and enters the Miss Hong Kong Pageant. Her own stepsister, fellow contestant Chung Ka-kei, sabotages her chances, but Ka-po perseveres into showbiz—a cutthroat world of rivalry and ambition. She marries Pong Chun-yu, a wealthy businessman's son, only to discover that his prestigious family presents an entirely new battlefield of social politics and power plays. As Ka-po climbs higher, her friendships with her two closest companions deteriorate. The series explores what truly divides them: jealousy, pride, money, or something deeper. Caught between her old life and new status, Ka-po must navigate betrayal, ambition, and the cost of success.
