5, Rue Sésame is a French-language children's series adapted from the American classic Sesame Street. Produced by Expand-Drama and Sesame Workshop for France 5, the show marks the second French co-production in the Sesame Workshop catalogue, following 1, rue Sesame. The first season comprises seventy-five episodes of twenty-six minutes each, directed by François Basset and Jul Mallard under executive producer Georges Campana. The series aired weekdays at 6:30 am and Saturdays at 7:00 am and 12:30 pm, bringing educational entertainment and character-driven learning to French audiences through the beloved Sesame Street format.
