Law & Disorder is a French police series following Thomas Chevalier, a by-the-book Parisian cop whose career derails after he accidentally injures a promising Olympique de Marseille footballer during an intervention. Punished for the mishap, Thomas is exiled to Marseille—the last place he wants to be—and assigned to lead a chaotic unit nobody else will touch. His new team includes Nora Kader, a reckless cop who operates by her own rules, and two notoriously difficult deputies, Julio Abdelaoui and Ange Colona, who've burned through previous commanders. Forced together despite their clashing styles and reputations, this mismatched squad must learn to work as one. The series balances procedural crime-solving with the friction between Thomas's rigid methods and his team's unorthodox approach to policing in France's gritty southern city.
