Carthago(2022)

Carthago is a historical drama set in 1942 Palestine, following Elijah Levi, a successful comedian arrested and deported by British authorities to a detainee camp bearing the same name. Imprisoned alongside Jewish underground fighters and Nazi war criminals, Levi finds himself trapped in a volatile microcosm of conflicting ideologies and survival instincts. The series explores the tensions that emerge when resistance activists, political prisoners, and enemy combatants are forced to coexist behind barbed wire. As Levi navigates this dangerous landscape, his wit and charm become both shield and liability.
