Alone in Love(2006)

Alone in Love is a 2006 South Korean television series that explores the messy reality of love and loss. Starring Gam Wu-seong and Son Ye-jin, the drama follows Eun-ho and Dong-jin, two ordinary people navigating life after divorce. Three years separated, they remain unable to stay away from each other—meeting, arguing, and offering unexpected support and comfort. Despite an undeniable connection that suggests they belong together, both resist confronting the painful past that drove them apart. The series earned critical praise for its subtle, unflinching portrayal of marriage, divorce, and the complicated bonds that survive heartbreak. Based on Hisashi Nozawa's 1996 Japanese novel Love Generation, the adaptation aired on SBS for 16 episodes across April and May 2006. It marked the directorial debut of filmmaker Han Ji-seung in television.
