Demascus(2025)

Damascus is a science fiction series following a Black man who enrolls in an experimental immersion therapy designed to help him discover his true self. The treatment propels him into alternate timelines of his own life, where he experiences radically different versions of who he might have become. Each timeline presents new choices, relationships, and consequences that force him to confront fundamental questions about identity, destiny, and agency. As he navigates these parallel realities, the boundaries between his original life and these alternate versions begin to blur. The series explores what it means to know yourself when infinite versions of yourself exist, blending speculative sci-fi concepts with intimate character study. Damascus examines how the paths we don't take shape who we are, and whether understanding our alternate selves can lead to genuine self-knowledge or only deeper confusion.
