Great Expectations(1967)

Great Expectations is a drama series following Pip, an orphan who learns from lawyer Mr. Jaggers that a mysterious benefactor intends to transform him into a gentleman. When Pip reconnects with his childhood patron Miss Havisham and her ward Estella—the beautiful woman he loves—he uncovers a darker truth. Miss Havisham, abandoned at the altar years ago, has descended into madness and deliberately shaped Estella into an emotionally detached heartbreaker. As Pip pursues his great expectations and romantic aspirations, he must navigate the psychological damage inflicted by Miss Havisham's bitterness and confront the cost of ambition and desire.
