My Magic Closet(2023)

My Magic Closet is a series following Carol, a 17-year-old of Brazilian and South Korean heritage navigating grief and identity after her mother's death and father's return to South Korea. Estranged from her cultural roots, Carol discovers her wardrobe is a magical portal connecting her bedroom to ACT, a wildly successful K-pop group. What begins as an escape becomes a journey of self-discovery as Carol confronts her mixed heritage, finds acceptance, and learns to embrace the parts of herself she'd rejected. The show blends coming-of-age drama with fantasy elements, exploring themes of belonging and family through Carol's unexpected bond with the band.
