The Lesser Evil(2022)

The Lesser Evil is a drama series about Vika and Max, a couple married 15 years who live in a beautifully renovated apartment but lack the one thing they desperately want: a child. When Max's old friend Pasha returns from Moscow with his new girlfriend Alice, an evening of wine loosens tongues. Max reveals that he's infertile while Vika is healthy, and the couple's desire for a family becomes known. Alice impulsively volunteers Pasha as a sperm donor, an awkward gesture that sets off a chain of consequences neither couple anticipated. What begins as a practical solution spirals into emotional complications that test marriage, friendship, and the boundaries of what people will sacrifice for their dreams.
