Parallel World is a Chinese fantasy series following Ye Liuxi, a melon seller, and Chang Dong, a shadow puppet performer, as they venture into a vast desert seeking answers. Ye Liuxi hopes to discover the truth about her origins, while Chang Dong searches for his deceased girlfriend's remains. Their journey leads them to the ancient Yumen Pass, where they encounter Imperial Guards, Taoist Priests, and mysterious creatures known as the Scorpion-Eyed. As supernatural anomalies mount, the pair must navigate treacherous trials that test their courage and deepen their bond. Each revelation brings them closer to understanding true love, yet also exposes a far more sinister conspiracy at work. Caught between multiple factions and dark forces, they race to uncover the truth before it's too late.
