Fancy(2023)

Fancy is a Russian crime series that follows investigator Ekaterina Mazurova and operative Sergei Polyakov as they confront a dark chapter from their past. In 1990, a serial killer terrorized their village, murdering several young women including Valya—Katya's sister and Sergei's fiancée. The killings stopped as abruptly as they began, leaving Sergei consumed by a hunger for revenge while Katya suppressed the trauma entirely. Eleven years later, the murders resume. Forced to reunite, Katya and Sergei must finally reckon with the violence that has haunted them both, discovering that some wounds never truly heal. The series blends psychological tension with procedural investigation as the pair races to stop a killer who refuses to stay buried.
