Frotter, frotter is a French series about three women from vastly different worlds who unite around a chambermaids' strike destined to fail. Solange is a Malian governess and mother struggling to support her family. Fanny is a bourgeois woman at the end of her rope. Michèle is a loud-mouthed queer activist. Despite their clashing backgrounds and personalities, the three form an unlikely alliance as they fight for better working conditions. What begins as a doomed labor action becomes a catalyst for personal transformation, forcing each woman to confront her circumstances and discover unexpected solidarity. The series balances humor with social commentary, exploring themes of class, identity, and resilience across its ensemble cast.
