Cerberus(2023)

Cerberus is a Russian historical drama series set in 1826 St. Petersburg, following the brutal suppression of the Decembrist uprising. When informers begin turning in rebels to the authorities, a series of gruesome murders erupts across the city—each victim a traitor, each body marked with verses from Alexander Pushkin's poetry. Moscow detective Alexander Boshnyak, a nobleman recently freed from arrest, takes charge of the investigation. As he pursues the killer, Boshnyak must navigate the treacherous politics of imperial Russia, where loyalty, betrayal, and revolutionary ideals collide. The series weaves historical intrigue with crime thriller elements, exploring themes of justice, vengeance, and the cost of dissent in an autocratic state.
