Fangs of Fortune is a Chinese fantasy series set during the Zhenyuan era, when the death of the Bai Ze goddess—keeper of balance between human and demon realms—unleashes chaos across the land. Demon beasts run wild, and the demon leader Zhu Yan, disguised as Zhao Yuanzhou, proposes forming a demon-hunting bureau to restore order. Wen Xiao joins the bureau with suspicion in her heart, alongside her childhood friend Zhuo Yichen, archer Pei Sijing, and timid doctor Bai Jiu. As the team hunts creatures from classical mythology, they uncover conspiracies far deeper than simple monster attacks. Blending action, mystery, and supernatural lore, the series explores trust, hidden identities, and the price of maintaining peace between worlds.
