Runaway Island(1984)

Runaway Island is an Australian historical series set in 1830. When their father Lachlan sails to England to petition the government about corruption in New South Wales, siblings Jemma and Jamie are left in the care of their aunt Agatha. She betrays their trust by selling the family farm, leaving the children homeless and destitute. After being told their father drowned at sea, Jemma and Jamie meet Red Tom and Nipper, two allies who help them search for their father's will. The series follows their desperate quest across colonial Australia as they navigate loss, hardship, and the fight to reclaim what was stolen from them.
