Sight Unseen is a crime drama about homicide detective Tess Avery, who loses her sight after a near-fatal accident on the job and is forced to leave the force. Refusing conventional support, Tess downloads an assistance app and connects with Sunny Patel, a seeing-eye guide living across the country who struggles with agoraphobia. Using a hidden camera and earpiece, Sunny becomes Tess's remote eyes as she navigates daily life and pursues the cold cases that still haunt her. The series explores an unconventional partnership between two damaged people learning to trust each other, while challenging assumptions about disability, ability and the boundaries of help.
