Halfrican American(2024)

Halfrican American is a comedy series following Zeke as he attends a family cookout with his estranged father, Nick, for the first time. Uncomfortable and out of place among his boisterous Black relatives, Zeke considers leaving until his half-sister Dezz intervenes, determined to help him feel welcome. When Nick launches into a hilarious account of his recent colonoscopy, the ice breaks and Zeke begins to relax into the warmth of his newfound family. The series explores identity, belonging, and the messy but ultimately rewarding process of reconnecting with relatives you've never really known.
