The Record of Murder(2024)

The Record of Murder is a psychological thriller following Sakai Yoichi, a struggling freelance video director, and Mitsumi Kei, a piano teacher hiding a dark secret as a serial killer. When Yoichi receives a severed finger and an invitation to document a killer's crimes, he faces an impossible choice. Instead of alerting police, he agrees to meet the sender—only to discover it's the mild-mannered pianist. What begins as morbid curiosity pulls Yoichi deeper into a dangerous partnership, forcing him to document increasingly brutal murders. As the line between observer and accomplice blurs, Yoichi must confront the consequences of his decision and the twisted bond forming between them.
