God of Wars(1985)

God of Wars is a Chinese drama series following two feuding princes locked in a battle for power and the title of God of War. Lei Zhenyu, the second prince, abandons his claim to the throne and retreats to the countryside, where he trains three common disciples, including the talented Ying Ziyang. His elder brother Lei Zhenhuan, aided by the scheming Duan Ronglu, orchestrates their father's death and seizes the throne, earning the coveted God of War designation. When Zhenyu returns to the capital for the funeral, he uncovers the conspiracy and exposes his brother's treachery, sparking open conflict between them. Stripped of his martial abilities, Zhenyu places his faith in Ziyang as his adopted successor, setting the stage for a fierce rivalry between the brothers that will determine who truly deserves the God of War mantle.
