The Academy(2024)

The Academy follows young soccer players training at Apolo FC, one of the world's elite clubs, as they pursue their dream of reaching the first team. Adrian, the boys' team captain and son of a former club legend, faces a threat to his position when coach Willy spots Jairo, a talented newcomer from Colombia. As rivals and roommates, the two clash intensely. Adrian's struggle is compounded by a personal secret: he's closeted and grappling with his identity while navigating the competitive, often unforgiving world of professional soccer. The series explores ambition, rivalry, and the pressure young athletes face both on and off the pitch.
