Me and Future Me!? is a Japanese series following Igarashi Raito, a cautious municipal worker who has spent a decade playing it safe in a society quick to punish mistakes. His carefully ordered life fractures when a stranger arrives claiming to be Raito from the future. The visitor begins predicting specific events—career moves, relationships, marriage, family—with unsettling accuracy, while embodying a boldness and freedom Raito has never allowed himself. As the future version of himself challenges his every choice and value, Raito must confront the gap between the life he's built and the life he might have lived. The series explores whether safety and caution are wisdom or merely fear.
