The Companion(2022)

The Companion is a Russian drama series that follows Lisa, a photographer hired as a companion to Sasha, the troubled daughter of wealthy businessman Oleg Orlov. Lisa bonds with the withdrawn girl, who reminds her of her own deceased sister. But Sasha is plagued by terrifying nightmares in which her dead mother visits and beckons her to follow. While Sasha's father and stepmother dismiss these visions as imagination, Lisa begins to suspect something far more sinister is happening in the Orlov household. When Lisa herself encounters a ghostly presence, she's forced to uncover the truth behind the hauntings and the real danger threatening Sasha's life. As the mystery deepens, Lisa must decide how far she'll go to protect the girl she's grown to love.
