Late Night Horror(1968)

Late Night Horror is a British horror anthology series that aired on BBC Two in spring 1968, running for just six weeks from April to May. Each episode delivered standalone tales of terror, but viewer complaints about its disturbing content led to its swift cancellation. The series has become a rarity in television history: four of its six episodes are believed lost to time, though the third episode surfaced as a 16mm black-and-white telerecording in 2016, and the first episode was recovered in 2026. Late Night Horror remains a fascinating artifact of 1960s British broadcasting, remembered as much for its controversial reception as for its horror storytelling.
