The Legendary Ranger follows Yuen Jun Hap, a brilliant surgeon, amateur detective and martial artist bound by the code of the traditional youxia. When a series of seemingly random kidnappings and bizarre crimes catches his attention, Yuen's investigation uncovers a sinister conspiracy. A doomsday cult, convinced that extraterrestrials will soon wipe out humanity, orchestrates the crimes to steal genetic material from the world's brightest and fittest people. Their goal: create a master race capable of repopulating Earth after the apocalypse. As Yuen digs deeper into the cult's operations, he discovers the crimes are all connected, pulling him into a race against time to stop their plan. Based on Ni Kuang's Dr Yuen Series novels, the show blends martial arts action with detective mystery and science fiction intrigue.
