Amor amargo is a Mexican telenovela that aired on Las Estrellas from November 2024 to February 2025. The series follows Tomás Jiménez, a successful businessman whose world shifts when he meets Gabriela San José, a determined woman devoted to her career. Their budding romance quickly becomes entangled in family conflict, buried secrets, and betrayal. As painful truths from the past surface, Tomás and Gabriela must navigate resentment and ambition to find forgiveness and a path forward. Adapted from the Portuguese telenovela Ilha dos Amores, Amor amargo stars Andrés Palacios and Ana Belena alongside Daniela Romo, Arturo Peniche, Martha Julia, and Alejandro Ávila.
