No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger is a Japanese tokusatsu series following Hoeru Tono, an aimless young man repeatedly fired from part-time work. When the sinister organization Bridan attacks Earth to awaken Tega Sword—a dormant deity who once ended a catastrophic "Universe War" between all Super Sentai robots—Hoeru is mysteriously transported to an otherworldly space. There, Tega Sword reveals that collecting special rings grants any wish. With no clear goal, Hoeru embraces the challenge to become "Number One," transforming into Gozyu Wolf to battle Bridan's forces. As he fights alongside other ring warriors, Hoeru begins discovering what he truly desires. The series blends action-packed combat with character growth, exploring themes of purpose and ambition through the lens of classic Super Sentai tradition.
