Final Hours(2026)

Final Hours is a Czech drama series set in Prague during 1942, as Nazi occupation tightens and Soviet forces close in. Chief Inspector Beran and his assistant Jan Morava pursue a serial killer through the war-torn city, unaware that Gestapo officer Erwin Buback shadows their every move. Buback's mission is to expose connections between the Prague police and the Czech resistance, reporting directly to his Nazi superior Meckerle. As Soviet troops finally reach Prague and armed uprising erupts against the occupiers, the line between innocence and guilt collapses. Survival demands moral compromise, and even ordinary people are forced into becoming killers. The series captures the chaos and moral ambiguity of liberation, where the hunt for a murderer becomes secondary to the larger violence consuming the city.
