Luke's Kingdom(1976)

Luke's Kingdom is a historical drama set in 1829 colonial Australia. A widowed Englishman immigrates to New South Wales with his children to claim inherited land, only to discover it's already occupied. Unable to secure legal title, the family becomes squatters on the frontier, where they battle colonial bureaucracy, hostile rivals, and the unforgiving Australian landscape. As they struggle to establish themselves in this remote and lawless territory, tensions mount between their ambitions and the forces arrayed against them. The series explores themes of survival, resilience, and the human cost of building a new world in an untamed land.
