Im Meer der Lügen is a German thriller series following Stefanie Ritter, a woman whose life unravels after a romantic encounter with charming pilot Kai Mertens. Imprisoned in a brutal Mexican women's prison with no hope of acquittal, she faces a year of confinement before meeting Paul Linke, a struggling Saxon lawyer assigned to her case.
