Toward the Terra(2007)

Toward the Terra is a science fiction anime series set in a future where government control maintains an iron grip on society. Fourteen-year-old Jomy's questions about the system's authority trigger a dangerous chase. He becomes hunted by two opposing forces: the authoritarian government seeking his death, and the Mu, an outcast telepathic race battling for freedom against state oppression. Each faction pursues Jomy for their own purposes—one to eliminate a threat, the other to recruit a potential ally. Caught between these warring powers, Jomy must navigate a world where his survival depends on choosing which side, if any, he can trust. The series explores themes of individual agency, governmental control, and the cost of resistance in a dystopian future.
