Teenager(1983)

Teenager is a Russian period drama following Arkady Dolgoruky, the illegitimate son of a nobleman raised by strangers and shaped by childhood rejection. Impressionable and vulnerable from years of peer mockery, Arkady arrives in St. Petersburg at twenty to begin work as secretary to an aging prince. The series explores his coming of age in imperial Russia's rigid social hierarchy, where his uncertain status and emotional fragility collide with the demands of aristocratic life. As Arkady navigates court intrigue and personal relationships, he must find his place among the nobility who view him as an outsider.
