Salaó(2013)

Salaó is a Catalan drama series following Joan Roig, a young liberal on the run from police persecution. When a Catalan businessman offers him a risky proposition—revive a struggling salting business in Galicia over the course of a year—Joan sees his chance to escape Catalonia and disappear. The small Galup operation becomes both his refuge and his test, as he navigates a new region, unfamiliar work, and the constant threat of discovery. Caught between survival and reinvention, Joan must decide whether this fresh start can truly protect him or if his past will inevitably catch up.
