Jidankoshonin Gota Keshi is a Japanese drama series following Shirai Torajiro, a former diplomat whose hair turned white after severe torture. Nicknamed "Byakko," he's a reclusive man trained in negotiation and behavioural psychology during his diplomatic career. Despite his solitary nature, Shirai uses his skills to expose lies and help those trapped in despair. Partnered with Sakura Ayano, a freeter with her own struggles, he takes on cases involving people manipulated by others. The series blends psychological intrigue with character-driven storytelling as Shirai applies his expertise to uncover hidden truths and guide victims toward freedom from their circumstances.
