Velika Srbija(2011)

Velika Srbija is a Serbian satirical sketch comedy series that takes aim at contemporary social and political life through exaggerated caricature and humor. The title plays on the idea of magnifying everyday Serbian culture—enlarging its quirks, contradictions, and absurdities for comic effect. Each episode strings together four to five sketches connected by brief acted segments that form a loose narrative thread. The show skewers current events, regional stereotypes, male-female dynamics, entertainment trends, and popular television itself. Drawing inspiration from the BBC's Little Britain, Velika Srbija was created by Dimitrije Banjac, Nikola Škorić, and Dejan Ćirjaković, who perform alongside Vesna Spasojević and Mladen Urdarević. The series treats its subject matter with irreverent wit rather than earnest critique, making it a sharp mirror held up to Serbian society and the Balkans at large.
