3-2-1 Contact Extra is a documentary series that expanded the acclaimed science program 3-2-1 Contact for older children and teens. Airing from 1989 to 1992, each special tackled real-world topics—from public health and environmental issues to adolescence and peer pressure—through interviews, on-location reporting, and personal stories. Produced by the Children's Television Workshop, the show combined expert insight with first-person narratives to help young viewers grasp complex subjects with clarity and practical relevance.
