Urban Gothic is a British horror anthology series that aired on Channel 5 from 2000 to 2001 across two seasons. Made on a tight budget and scheduled in a late-night slot, the show developed a devoted cult following and has since been repeated on the Horror Channel. Set in London, each episode stands alone as a self-contained story, yet an underlying narrative thread connects the episodes and only fully emerges in the final installments of each season. The series shifts tone and style dramatically from episode to episode, ranging from documentary-style independent films to spoofs and polished dramas reminiscent of The Outer Limits and The Twilight Zone.
