Dan for Mayor(2010)

Dan for Mayor is a comedy series following Dan Phillips, a 30-something bartender stuck in a rut in the ordinary city of Wessex. He's kept the same friends since grade school, treasures his vintage Ms. Pac-Man machine, and watches his ex-girlfriend get engaged to someone else. His life appears destined for stagnation—until a casual remark unexpectedly thrusts him into a mayoral race. What begins as an unlikely candidacy becomes a chance for Dan to shake up his small-town existence and discover whether he's capable of genuine change. The series balances humor with genuine character growth as Dan navigates the absurdities of local politics and confronts what he really wants from life.
