Balestra is a psychological thriller that follows a competitive fencer who volunteers to test an experimental device enabling her to train inside lucid dreams. There she encounters a mysterious stranger whose presence begins to destabilize her marriage, her mental state, and her pursuit of Olympic gold. As the line between dream and reality blurs, the fencer must confront what the stranger truly represents and whether the device's promises are worth the psychological cost. The series explores themes of ambition, identity, and the dangers of chasing perfection at any price.
