MTV World Stage(2009)

MTV World Stage is a global concert series that captures live performances from the world's biggest artists at exclusive venues and major music festivals. Each episode offers viewers a front-row experience of multi-genre talent, reaching over 550 million households worldwide. The series debuted in August 2009 with an outdoor event at Sunway Lagoon Resort in Kuala Lumpur, drawing more than 15,000 fans. Subsequent editions expanded to other locations, including I-City in 2011. MTV World Stage pioneered interactive features for its broadcasts, incorporating real-time social media engagement where audience comments and SMS tweets appeared on giant screens at concert venues, blending live performance with digital participation.
