The Teenagers(1981)

The Teenagers is a Brazilian drama series that follows four adolescents navigating turbulent personal crises. Majô, caught between her separated parents, develops feelings for Túlio, her mother's new husband and a high school teacher. Caíto struggles with his identity as a gay teen trapped in a deteriorating household where his parents' marriage is collapsing. Doca battles drug addiction while his sister Bia faces an unplanned pregnancy, both products of their parents' own unhappiness. Threading through their stories is Túlio himself—a reformed addict turned educator—who unexpectedly confronts Fernanda, a figure from his troubled past. The series weaves together these interconnected lives as each character grapples with family dysfunction, forbidden desire, and the weight of growing up in chaos.
